Midland Computer Inc. is a privately held, regional technology company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1979, the company currently owns and operates branches in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, as well as Des Moines, Iowa.   

   

Through its regional locations the company sells to the business and educational markets as well as local and state governments.  Products represented are from major manufacturers such as IBM, Hewlett Packard, Gateway, Microsoft and Cisco as well as numerous other peripheral and software vendors.  Services include hardware repair, help-desk, networking, configuration, integration and installation. Web Solutions include internet/intranet consulting and design, database programming, and e-commerce implementation. Client managed contract staffing, staff augmentation, and technical recruiting round out the benefits of doing business with Midland Computer.        

   

Opened in 1979 in Omaha, the company operated ComputerLand franchises focused on both retail and commercial sales and service.  In 1991, the company de-emphasized retail and focused on corporate sales.  In 1996, the company purchased two US Web franchises to establish its presence in the Internet design business. Today, all facets of the company operate under the Midland Computer name with no franchise affiliations.  

   

Midland Computer is dedicated to continued growth and innovation in all markets while looking for additions that strengthen market positions or open new opportunities. The headquarters are located in Omaha, Nebraska and provide centralized accounting, operations, and human resources. Each branch is independently managed to adapt to the needs of its own customer base while being able to draw upon the resources and strength of the larger group. Distribution of Hardware
Midland Computer has purchasing relationships with the largest global distributors of computers and communication, networking, peripheral and storage products including Synnex Information Technologies, Inc., Tech Data, and Ingram Micro.  In addition, many smaller specialist distribution and direct buying relationships have been developed over our 25 years of providing products. Combined these relationships offer us the ability to source hard to find as well as discontinued products where other vendors would simply be "out of stock".  We do everything possible in procuring the products you need when you need them and at the right price.
